Laverbread is a traditional Welsh dish consisting of seaweed, onions, oatmeal, and seasonings. It's enjoyed as a flavorful side dish or part of a Welsh breakfast, often accompanied by bacon and served with toast or fried bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g Welsh laverbread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Heat the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the laverbread, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper and cook for 2 minutes more.
  • Stir in the parsley and serve immediately.
