Here is a Palak Paneer Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound spinach, washed and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup paneer, cut into cubes

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute more.
  3. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 1 minute more, stirring constantly.
  4. Add the spinach and cook, stirring constantly, until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Puree the spinach mixture in a blender until smooth.
  7. Return the pureed spinach to the skillet and heat over medium heat.
  8. Stir in the heavy cream and paneer cubes.
  9. Cook until the paneer is heated through, about 2 minutes.
  10. Serve hot with roti, naan, or rice.

Tips:

  • If you don’t have fresh spinach, you can use frozen spinach that has been thawed and squeezed dry.
  • If you want a spicier dish, you can add more red chili powder.
  • You can also add other vegetables to the palak paneer, such as carrots, peas, or potatoes.
  • Serve palak paneer with a dollop of yogurt or chutney on top.
